Rules for Authors

The rules for authors are compiled taking into account the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation and the "Unified Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals" developed by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.

The conduct and description of all clinical trials should be in full compliance with the CONSORT standards - http://www.consort-statement.org/

In its editorial policy, the journal follows the principles of the integrity of publications in scientific journals, the relevant provisions of authoritative international associations such as the Committee on Publications Ethics (COPE), the Council of Science Editors (CSE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) all parties involved in the publication (authors, editors, reviewers, publishers and the scientific community). The magazine, with the help of comprehensive, objective and honest review, seeks to select for publication only materials relating to scientific research of the highest quality.

The scientific and practical journal "Bulletin of the Dagestan State Medical Academy" is a regular peer-reviewed publication that reflects the results of research aimed at developing advanced medical technologies.

The journal publishes articles of scientific and practical content that represent the results of clinical research, reviews, lectures, clinical observations, information materials, reviews, discussions, letters to the editorial board, brief reports, information on the scientific life of the university, congratulations to the jubilees.

The articles of the problematic and scientific and practical nature of the corresponding specialty of scientific workers are accepted 14.01.00 - "clinical medicine" in the following main areas of research:

• Surgery

• Internal illnesses

• Infectious diseases

• Obstetrics and gynecology

• Pediatrics

Published materials must meet the following criteria:

1. Scientific relevance and importance of the problem to which the article is devoted (the subject matter of the article should be of interest to a wide range of researchers engaged in the development and clinical research of new medical technologies).

2. High degree of evidence (modern research base, availability of equipment certificates, sufficient sample size and approaches to mathematical processing of research results).

3. The conceptual nature of the study (authors should not confine themselves to ascertaining the facts, analysis of the received material is necessary taking into account the literature data, new ideas and hypotheses should be expressed).
